After reading the genealogy and hearing Chandler’s sermon last week on leaving a legacy, all of Chapter 5 appears to record the reality of death for us all, and yet the faithfulness and obedience of generations from Adam, Abraham, Seth, Enoch, all the way to Noah.  God is patiently waiting for ALL to come to him and keep the knowledge of Him alive, because of his mercy and grace — but judgment DOES come — and we want to face and live with our Maker for ETERNITY when we die.  This life is but a “vapor,” so cry out to God NOW, because it matters for how we get to live with HIM FOREVER when we die.
